A Limo Tender with a Twist

The SWATH Electra Glide is carbon neutral, solar hybrid and seasickness-free.

SWATH Electra Glide

The SWATH Electra Glide has solar panels that produce 20 kW per day, which at 16 knots is enough energy to cruise more than 1,000 carbon-neutral nautical miles.

Okay, let’s be honest: We think she looks a little, um, different. But there’s a lot to like about the 31-foot SWATH Electra Glide Limousine Tender. She’s carbon neutral, she’s solar hybrid and, thanks to her SWATH design, she’s virtually seasickness-free.

This innovative design for 12 guests was introduced at the Electric and Hybrid Marine World Expo. She’s built of a carbon epoxy composite and has a maximum speed of 45 knots, powered by twin 300-hp Regen Electric outboard engines.

At 8 knots, running on 50-kWh Li Po batteries, she has a zero-carbon range of 40 nm. Her solar panels produce 20 kW per day, which at 16 knots is enough energy to cruise more than 1,000 carbon-neutral nautical miles. A choice of diesel gensets up to 85 kW can extend the range.
