West Marine has relaunched its Waterlife station on Pandora, promising a selection of 100 songs about “all things water.”
The eclectic mix includes songs by the Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffett, Sheryl Crow, The Eagles, Jack Johnson, Brad Paisley, Bob Marley, The Beach Boys and more.
West Marine is also holding a contest through May 31 to add more songs. The winning submission will earn a $200 West Marine gift card (visit www.westmarine.com/pandora to enter).
“All of us at West Marine were delightfully surprised to see how many of our customers and Pandora users sought out our station,” Audrey Broxterman, West Marine divisional vice president of marketing, stated in a press release. “Pandora’s music creation team managed to create the perfect playlist for any water-based activity, and we’re eager to see what songs will be suggested by fans in our new, exclusive contest.”
