Porto Montenegro has launched a partnership with the Seabin Project, which collects floating trash, oil, fuel and detergents in an effort to protect the oceans and marine life.
The marina will be an ambassador for the pilot program, which includes students at the Knightsbridge International School determining what the Seabins collect to learn more about plastics and their effect on the environment.

Commercial sales of the Seabin are expected to start by mid-2017.
