Patrick Sciacca, an experienced journalist, boater and avid offshore angler, grew up in the Northeast just rock-throwing distance from the Atlantic. As a kid, Sciacca honed his boathandling chops onboard his dad’s 31-foot Downeaster. He has traveled the planet from Brisbane, Australia to Babylon, Long Island, and all stops in between to test and write about more than 150 boats. In his spare time, Sciacca crews onboard the Viking 50, Blinky IV. He also holds a 100-ton Master license from the USCG. Read Full Bio
