Assignments for Yachting have sent Mary up the Amazon, around Cape Horn and all over the wet parts of the world. A former book editor and the author of The Cure for Anything is Salt Water, a nautical memoir published by HarperCollins, Mary has written for numerous national magazines. She is a former member of the USCG Auxiliary, a graduate of Chapman School of Seamanship’s Professional Mariner Training, and was a dockmaster in East Hampton, New York. Read Full Bio
