Marine Industry Day 2015

The 2nd Annual Marine Industry Day cruises into downtown Fort Lauderdale.

South Florida is a marine-industry hub for the United States. It creates around $11.5 billion in local revenues, accounting for about 100,000 related jobs, according to the Marine Industries Association of South Florida. And to celebrate this integral, and sizable industry, the Second Annual Marine Industries Day is being held in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, June 20. And as you can see in this photo gallery, serious fun is in store for all who attended.

Marine Industry Day is a family-oriented event aimed at celebrating and raising awareness of the region’s marine industry through live music, food trucks, children’s activities, numerous marine-related activities, water taxi tours, educational games and more.

Who: Marine Industry Day is open to anyone who is in the marine industry or anyone who would like to learn more about it.
