Walk the Plank

The PI 357 Big Flash Lux from Besenzoni ($12,975 for 550-pound lift, $13,175 for 660-pound lift) is an externally mounted, telescopic gangway. Made with a polished stainless-steel structure and teak grating, the PI 357 is a smart addition to a globe-trotting vessel that typically has to Med-moor. The PI 357 features stanchions and courtesy lights for safety, and an electrohydraulic power supply and remote control for extending and retracting. Take the Lift

The ES2200 uses 3/8-inch Amsteel composite rope instead of steel cable and has 22½ feet of line. Steelhead Marine, 604-826-1668
