At a street price of $999, the Navman Tracker 5600 appears to offer a lot of plotter for the money. This unit made its American debut at the Miami International Boat Show in February. The 5600 has a 6.4-inch diagonal quarter-VGA TFT display, which the company says is viewable in bright daylight. It was very bright inside under a powerful searchlight at the Miami show. The unit has an external antenna and runs C-MapNT+ cartography with Tide and Port Services data. Navman is a new player in the North American marine electronics market.
