The first Belize 54 Sedan has arrived in the United States, bound for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
She may be the first on U.S. shores, but she is Hull No. 8 of this Belize model, which is built at Kha Shing in Taiwan. Hull No. 1 of the Belize 54 Sedan was delivered in April 2012 to an Australian couple.
The Belize 54 Sedan has a speed of 30 knots driven by twin 600-hp Cummins Zeus diesels and pod drives. Her cruising range is about 400 nautical miles.
The 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be held October 31 through November 4 and will include six locations with 3 million square feet of space. Of course, everything from canoes to superyachts will be on display, and this year, organizers are adding a few extra attractions to the mix.
For starters, the 228-foot motoryacht SeaFair will be dockside at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel and Marina. SeaFair houses an art exhibit, fine jewelry, a restaurant, a bar and VIP lounges.
Hargrave Yachts recently launched the 101-foot Raised Pilothouse Second Love, a semi-displacement design that is receiving her final outfitting now and will be completed in time for the 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
