Navionics has a novel approach to adding content to its popular electronic charting app; it’s created a virtual magazine rack of boating and fishing magazines — including Yachting. transiting a new body of water, you can pan ahead on an iPhone or iPad (and soon on Android devices) with the navionics newsstand app and click on the content icon to read geo-referenced articles about your destination. Users can search by specific category, such as fishing or diving, or by specific magazine title. Articles can be accessed in multiple formats so you can enjoy reading them as pure text or in the original print layout.
