Several charter yachts have reaffirmed their plans to offer Caribbean itineraries this winter, as the Virgin Islands and northern Caribbean continue to rebuild following Hurricanes Irma, Jose and Maria.
Bina (142′)
Edmiston says the 142-foot Mondomarine Bina will be in the islands, taking 10 guests at a lowest weekly base rate of $150,000.
Ocean’s Seven (137′)
Yachting Partners International says the 137-foot Kingship Ocean’s Seven is also going to the Caribbean, where she will accommodate as many as five guests in 12 staterooms. Her lowest weekly base rate is about $125,000.
Ipharra (102′)
Blue Latitude Yachting says the 102-foot Sunreef Ipharra is returning to the Caribbean following a two-year refit that included new paint, teak, carpets, upholstery, air conditioning, main engines, generators and more. Her lowest weekly base rate is $75,000 for as many as 12 guests.
A fund-raiser to help the islands: Nicholson Yachts, which manages the 105-foot custom catamaran Necker Belle for charter, says the yacht’s owner, Sir Richard Branson, is donating proceeds from his Necker Cup tennis tournament and Necker Open golf tournament to reconstruction efforts in the Virgin Islands. Both events are scheduled November 27 through December 2.
