Last month saw the launch of Tsumat at Trinity Yachts.

Measuring 164 feet (49.9 meters), Tsumat is for experienced megayacht owners. They previously owned a Trinity and commissioned the 144-foot (44-meter) Tajin in 2000 from the now-defunct Trident Shipyard.

Like Tajin, Tsumat bears interior design by Espinosa, with additional work by the architectural design firm Museotec and, of course, plentiful input from the owners. They requested a modern look that would be comfortable for their family, including children. The children get two twin-bedded cabins below decks among the four total guest staterooms there. (A fifth guest stateroom is on the bridge deck, and the master suite is on the main deck.) But, chances are the hot tub and sunpads on the sundeck will compete for their attention.

The grown-ups among the owners’ party should enjoy the hot tub, too, as well as the workout equipment that can be set up aft. When the day is done, they can enjoy drinks at the bar in the full-beam (28-foot, or 8.5-meter) skylounge, then alfresco dining just aft or back up on the sundeck. Or, if they want to learn how the chef makes specialties, there are barstools lining the island in the galley. No matter where they decide to dine, Tsumat has a healthy wine “cellar” to keep the libations flowing.

A crew of 11 will keep the all-aluminum Tsumat and her twin 3,384-hp Caterpillars running.
