If you’re in the Monaco area, chances are you’ve spied the 187-foot (57-meter) Lady Linda. Trinity Yachts delivered the all-aluminum megayacht just a few weeks ago, prior to her crossing of the Atlantic to spend the rest of the summer in the Med.

Lady Linda was commissioned by repeat American clients of Trinity Yachts; in fact, this is their third Trinity. Since they live in Florida and like to keep their yachts steps from their back door, and since they enjoy Bahamian cruising, Lady Linda needed a shallow draft. It measures eight feet (2.4 meters) at half load. Equally important was ensuring the interior could accommodate friends and family and would generally be up to elegant entertaining. The owners worked with Evan K. Marshall to ensure the staterooms, plus saloons and alfresco areas, followed suit. Stonework of granite and marble, rich stained woods, and earth-tone fabrics set the mood from the king-size, full-beam (33’4″, or 10.2 meters) main-deck master to the skylounge. Each of the four guest staterooms below decks are of equal size so that no one feels slighted, and the beds face good-size ports to make the most of the views. If more people need to be accommodated, the gym, abaft the pilothouse, can convert to a fifth cabin.

Should a day on the water be a bit windy, the owners and guests need not head inside. The sundeck has full-height glass wind doors, a feature Trinity has put on a few of its megayachts. These keep winds from whipping along the side decks and swirling around the bar and hot tub.

The ABS-classed Lady Linda, complete with a helipad, should see a 20-knot top end with her 3,384-hp Caterpillars. She should also see a 4,500-nautical-mile range at 10 knots. You’ll get a chance to see her again during the Monaco Yacht Show, as Trinity will have her on display.
