New Boats
Here are some of the latest yacht launches.

Hunt Yachts recently added three new models to their Coupe line for the 2010 season: the Surfhunter 29, Surfhunter 33, and Harrier 36. The first Harrier 36 was christened on November 6 in Newport, with the second hull under construction and scheduled for a spring 2010 launch. A Surfhunter 29 was launched earlier this summer in Newport and was a favorite choice as a chase boat during the many summer regattas. Discovery Yachts will debut the Discovery 50 Cat at the 2010 Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show coming this January 8 to 17. Renowned yacht designer Bill Dixon penned her lines and Ken Freivokh laid out her interior.  The Discovery 50 Cat has a comfortable layout and was designed to be easily sailed by two people. www.discoveryyachts.com.

Sunreef Yachts has recently developed the Sunreef 92 Double Deck, an 89-foot, streamlined, sleek, cat-hulled sailing yacht. The vessel can accommodate six to 10 guests and four crew, and Sunreef claims that under sail she'll have an impressive cruising speed of 15 knots. www.sunreef-yachts.com

Donzi Yachts by Roscioli unveiled their latest, the Rosciloi R-73 Sportfish at the 2009 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. Modeled after the popular R-80 model, the R-73 is an agile fish finder with accommodations for the family. With  twin 16V 2000-horsepower engines, the company reports that she tops out at over 40 knots. And, if that's not quite enough for you, they say they're developing the R-92. Stay tuned. www.donziyachts.com
